Feedburner, again
Last year I switched my feeds over to Feedburner, and then switched them back after a Wordpress update broke the redirection. Well, I’ve decided to try again, so j4mie.org/feed should now point to feeds.feedburner.com/j4mie.

I now have a photoblog. It’s essentially a bit of PHP that pulls out the five most recent photos from my Flickr RSS feed that I have tagged with “phoblog”. It looks nice and shiny though.

Permalinks broken, University finished
I recently upgraded the software running this site (Wordpress) to the latest version (2.0.3). It seems to have somehow broken the permalinks system which allows each blog entry and page to have a “pretty” URL. I’ve disabled the permalinks until I work out what the problem is.

Feedburner
I’ve switched over the feeds on my site to be provided by Feedburner. This means I can splice my Flickr photostream with the ordinary feeds for my site. So whenever I post a new photo on Flickr, it will be pushed out to my feeds as well as appearing on my gallery page.

02.15.06 | Permalink | 2 CommentsI have now added a Gallery to my site, powered by flickr and the FAlbum plugin for Wordpress. You’ll also notice a nice “Random Photo” on my sidebar. I’ll try to add photos to the gallery whenever I take interesting ones.
